• Record-Setting Temps Continue in the Northwest: Five Tips to Beat the Heat

    Record-high temperatures for June have been recorded in at least 16 cities in the northwest, with an temperature of 116 degrees recorded near the Oregon/Idaho border, and Walla Walla, Washington reaching 113 degrees.

    In the coming days, temperatures across the northwest are expected to set records and reach triple digits in some areas. That’s why Washington’s Department of Labor & Industries is urging people working outdoors to take precautions against heat-related illness.
