Labor advocates and safety experts are calling on state legislators for reforms to close a loophole in the state’s occupational safety and health laws.
Virtually all of the 1,500 injuries that occurred to municipal and other public workers in Massachusetts might have been prevented had federal OSHA measures been in place, as they are for all other workers in the state.
