Putting People First: VPP and VPPPA
The Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association Inc. (VPPPA) is dedicated to cooperative occupational safety, health and environmental management systems. VPPPA is a member-based association, supporting worksites across the U.S. in their efforts to receive and maintain their status in OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).
As the organization prepares for its 30th annual conference, which will be held Aug. 25-28 at the Gaylord National Convention Center http://www.vpppa.org/conference/ in National Harbor, Md., Editor-in-Chief Sandy Smith had a question and answer session with VPPPA board members Bill Harkins, Richard McConnell, Stacy Thursby Mike Guillory and Tony Stoner.
