112 Million Workers Impacted by Final OSHA Rule Updating Walking-Working Surfaces Standards
The update to the Walking-Working Surfaces standard, which includes a new section that establishes requirements for using personal fall protection, will affect employees at 7 million workplaces.
By updated its general industry Walking-Working Surfaces standards specific to slip, trip and fall hazards, OSHA on Nov. 17 took steps to reduce injuries and fatalities for 112 million workers at 7 million workplace.
